Meet The Cast Of SpongeBob The Musical

Sean Autin (Patrick Star)—Sean, a 22-year-old resident of Hammond, has been in several shows, including Columbia Theatre’s productions of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and Grease, as well as Swamplight Theatre’s production of Willy Wonka the Musical. He would like to thank his family, friends, and his darling Bree--who have all supported and continue to support him in his theatrical endeavors!

Emma Batty (Electric Skate #2)—Emma is extremely excited to be a part of her first show with Swamplight Theatre and such a talented team. She was recently seen in Antigone: In These Times and Near Nellie Bly at Southeastern Louisiana University. She is a rising sophomore majoring in theatre at Southeastern. She loves acting and thinks this musical is so much fun. She wants to thank her family, friends, and teachers for always encouraging her to do her best.

Brantley Blades (Ensemble)—Brantley is 9 years old and lives in Ponchatoula, where he attends D.C. Reeves Elementary. He enjoys singing, dancing, sports, and being around family and friends. He is going into the 4th grade at D.C Reeves Elementary School. Brantley would like to give a shoutout to his parents, who push him to be the best that he can be and support him through everything. He’d also like to thank his family and friends who support him in all his activities. “I love all of you.”

Don Michael Dubret (Mr. Krabs)—Don Michael is a resident of Loranger and has degrees in Vocal Music Performance from Loyola University (Bachelor's) and Communication Science and Disorders from Southeastern Louisiana University (Master's). He works as a Speech Pathologist at North Oaks Medical Center. Michael has performed extensively in Operatic, Musical Theatre, and theatrical productions. He has recently been seen at Swamplight in the title role of Willy Wonka: The Musical last summer and as Mr. Kirby in You Can’t Take It With You this spring. Michael is married to Karen Dubret, and they have four wonderful children: Katelyn, Cole, Arden, and Remy.

Christian Franco (Ensemble)—Christian is 10 years old and excited to be in his very first play at Swamplight Theatre! He loves drawing, building Legos, and spending time with his brothers. Christian has had so much fun learning about theatre and making new friends. He hopes you enjoy the show!

Lucus Franco (Old Man Jenkins)—Lucas is 13 years old and excited to be making his musical debut at Swamplight Theatre! He most recently worked with the Columbia Theatre in Clue as Professor Plum! When not on stage, he enjoys drawing, reading, rollerblading, and playing video games. He would like to thank his Mom, Dad, Grandparents, and younger brothers for all the support and encouragement.

Addyson Glorioso (Ensemble)—Addyson is excited to be back on stage at Swamplight! A rising 5th grader at Gray’s Creek Elementary in Denham Springs, she participates in the Talented Music and Theatre Programs and is completing her 7th year of dance at A Touch of Class. She was a Candy Kid and Oompa Loompa in Willy Wonka last year and a Singing Telegram Girl in Columbia’s production of Clue. For fun, she loves traveling to Walt Disney World, the beach, the Smoky Mountains, and hanging out with her friends.

Rebecca Glorioso (Mrs. Puff)—Rebecca is excited to be returning to the stage after many years of working behind the scenes and is especially excited to share the stage with her daughter, Addyson! In her earlier years, she participated in St. Bernard’s Talented Music and Theatre programs, as well as the dance team, drama club, and Children’s Theatre of New Orleans. Most recently, she has stage-managed Livingston Parish’s Talented Theatre Program productions. She is currently a speech language pathologist at Gray’s Creek Elementary in Livingston Parish and loves helping children find their voice. She would like to thank her family, especially her parents and her husband, Troy, for holding up the home front so she can bring Mrs. Puff to life.

Liam Glynn (SpongeBob)—Liam is a 19-year-old resident of Mandeville who is making his Swamplight Theatre debut. He is currently attending Southeastern Louisiana University and majoring in theatre. He has been in several shows at other venues, but he is thrilled to be playing SpongeBob here at the Swamp. He is extremely excited for his friends and family to see him play one of his favorite characters of all time.

Ellen Heiman (Ensemble)—Ellen is excited to be taking the stage again at Swamplight Theatre following her role as Rheba in last spring’s You Can't Take It With You and stage-managing the Valentine’s Cabaret. Ellen has previously played a Candy Kid in Willy Wonka. She spent ten years with Livingston’s Talented Theatre Program. Ellen would like to thank her friends and family for their support and her new family at Swamplight for bringing her on and teaching her so much.

Makayla Hernandez (Ensemble)—Makayla is 14 years old and is entering ninth grade while being homeschooled by her parents. A resident of Springfield, she is making her Swamplight Theatre debut and is excited about this opportunity. She has played roles in Fiddler on the Roof and Oliver. In addition to theatre, she has also done three years in dance, including tap, jazz, ballet, and hip-hop. She loves animals, baking, and cooking.

Moriah Hernandez (Ensemble)—Moriah is 16 years old and resides in Springfield. The oldest of five children, she is entering 11th grade and has always been homeschooled by her parents. She has performed in productions of Oliver and Fiddler on the Roof and will be taking on the added role of props manager for this play. She has taken instruction in ballet, tap, jazz, and hip hop. She enjoys drawing and making fan art of Demon Slayer, My Hero Academia, and more.

Baylor Johnson (Ensemble)—Baylor is 8 years old and is thrilled to make his stage debut in SpongeBob The Musical at Swamplight Theatre. Baylor has been active in sports for much of his life, playing baseball, basketball, and soccer. He also discovered a love for music at an early age and was chosen to be in the Tucker Choir in 2nd grade under the direction of Mrs. Wendy. He is the proud son of David and Amber Johnson and can’t wait to bring some jellyfish-jumping fun to Bikini Bottom.

Zachary Judice (Electric skate #1)—Zachary is 15 years old and lives in Hammond. A homeschooled student, he enjoys reading books and loves traveling with his family. He has been in other shows, including Huckleberry Finn, Fiddler on the Roof, and Oliver. He would like to thank his parents, grandparents, and aunt and uncle for supporting him in his theatrical shenanigans.

Hailey Judice (Electric Skate #3)—Hailey is 17 years old and lives in Hammond. She is homeschooled and has participated in other shows including The Little Mermaid, Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat, Huckleberry Finn, Fiddler on the Roof, and Oliver. She would like to thank her parents for always being so supportive and running her and her brother back and forth to rehearsal all summer, every summer.

Charleigh King (Ensemble)—Charleigh is very excited to be a part of SpongeBob the Musical at Swamplight Theatre. She has worked with Swamplight in The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, Oliver, and Willy Wonka. Charleigh also just completed her fifth year in Kay Butler Performing Arts Project’s summer camp at Swamplight. She is a part of Livingston Parish's Talented Art and Theatre programs and has participated in their productions of The Worst Christmas Pageant Ever and Newsies Jr. She would like to thank her family for always supporting her passion for theatre.

Emerson LaFont (Ensemble)—Emerson is excited to be a part of SpongeBob the Musical! Her previous stage credits include Cinderella and Roald Dahl’s Willy Wonka. She enjoys taking musical theatre and acting workshops at Swamplight Theatre, where she continues to grow as a performer. When she’s not on stage, Emerson loves spending time with her chickens, playing Grow a Garden, and creating art. She is grateful to Swamplight Theatre for supporting her growth and for the wonderful friendships she has made.

Danalyn LeBlanc (Plankton)—Danalyn is the Workshop Director/Camp Coordinator for the Kay Butler Performing Arts Project. She has appeared in various shows and Cabarets, as well as contributing off-stage for many Swamplight Productions. She is a former student of Ms. Kay Butler. She is a trained cosmetologist and previously sang with a professional singing group. She now uses her talents homeschooling her two children and instructing Workshops for KBPAP. “I would like to extend a very gracious thanks to my village for showing up for me, as well as shouldering some of the load for my tiny humans, to my Swamplight family for your faith in my potential, and to my husband for always supporting my crazy theatre adventures. I cannot wait to bring Plankton to life and to take you all along on a journey for another one of Plankton’s evil schemes.”

Bode McDaniel (Squidward)--Bode is no stranger to Swamplight Theatre. He is 18 years old and graduated from Ponchatoula High. He has been in various shows at Swamplight, including 13 The Musical, Footloose, Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka, and You Can’t Take It With You. He has also performed at the Columbia Theatre and with the Drama Club in several shows at the high school. When he’s not acting, he likes to sing, make music reels on Instagram, and spend time with family and friends. He plans to go to Southeastern in the fall and major in Music Performance. He is beyond excited to be playing Squidward and hopes you all enjoy the show.

Kirschten Wae Methvin (Karen the Computer)—Kirschten is thrilled to return to Swamplight Theatre in this wonderful production. She recently graduated from the Louisiana School for Math, Science, and the Arts in Natchitoches, LA, with the honor of receiving the Marie Louise Snellings Outstanding Arts Student award. During her high school career, she completed the Artist in Training program in both performance theatre and visual arts. She performed in The Unseen Hand by Sam Shepard, Robert Ike's Orestia, and The Resistible Rise of Arturo Ui by Bertolt Brecht. Kirschten is excited to study History and Political Science on a Pre-Law track this fall at Rhodes College. She would like to thank her friends and family for supporting her passion, especially her mom, who listens to a long, exciting summary after every rehearsal.

Hadassah Patterson (Pearl Krabs)—Hadassah is 17 years old and has lived in Ponchatoula all her life. She has graced the Swamplight stage in Hairspray, Oliver, 13 the Musical, Footloose, and the Annual Teddy Bear Tea; she was also in 2 shows at the Columbia Theatre. She would like to thank everyone supporting her for their love and excitement along the way.

Lucien Pigott (Ensemble)--Lucien is 7 years old, and this is his first time on stage. He is not a stranger to theatre because he often tags along with Haliegh, his stage-manager mom. Lucien is excited to be playing an octopus and has had a lot of fun with this show. He hopes everyone loves SpongeBob.

Kyra Pait (Ensemble)—Kyra is 11 years old and has been on the Swamplight stage in Footloose, Willy Wonka, and The Christmas Poule D’Eau and Carol Too. She will also be seen in Columbia Theatre’s upcoming Graveyard Girls. She loves KBPAP Summer Camp at Swamplight and considers it a highlight of her year. She’d like to send a huge shoutout to her family and friends for always cheering her on and driving her to rehearsals. She is excited to be part of SpongeBob the Musical and says to “Get ready for a splash of fun!”

Rebekah Pait (Mayor of Bikini Bottom)—Rebekah is no stranger to the Swamplight stage and is excited to be playing a character she describes as part-time sass dispenser, full-time stage ham. Rebekah says that she ate her way through Willy Wonka as Mrs. Gloop with no regrets, was blessed and stressed as Vi in Footloose, and hosted a murder mystery in heels, pearls, and suspicious side-eyes in The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940. Most importantly, she says that nothing beats community theatre where the drama is high and the budget is glitter glue.

MaciLyn Rohner (Ensemble)—MaciLyn is 9 years old and will be in the 4th grade at Courtney Christian School. She is excited to be a part of SpongeBob the Musical this summer. She attends workshops at the Kay Butler Performing Arts Project in musical theatre, ballet, voice, and acting. In the past year, she was an Oompa Lompa in Willy Wonka and Baby Charlotte in the Teddy Bear Tea, dressed in her beautiful pink party dress. MaciLyn sends a Big shout-out to her mom and dad for supporting her theatre adventures and hopes you enjoy the show.

Kayla Ruiz (Sandy)—Kayla Ruiz is a sophomore psychology major at Southeastern Louisiana University. She recently appeared in The Untold Crimes of Insomniacs as the Pregnant Young Wife and APO's Fall Showcase: In Case of Emergency as Grace and Lynn. She has appeared in Footloose and You Can't Take It With You here at the Swamp. She is super excited to be playing Sandy, her largest role at Swamplight thus far! She wants to thank her castmates, crew, and directors for giving her this opportunity, as well as her close friends and family for always supporting her dreams.

Piper Stowe (Ensemble)—Piper is 12 years old and lives in Ponchatoula. Piper has the support of her family; her big brother, Gage, worked backstage on Alice in Jazzland when Piper was in the cast. She has also been in Attack of the Cafeteria Zombies, Turkey Saves the Day, Encanto, Wellermen, and Beauty and the Pirate Beast (there were more, but she decided to stop there). Piper enjoys playing softball, bowling, acting, singing, dancing, and cooking. Piper will start at PJHS in the Fall.

Dawson Warren (Ensemble)—Dawson is soon to be a 4th grader at Thompson Intermediate in Alabaster, AL. Dawson likes to be the first one up in the mornings to be able to play on PlayStation. He loves to be outside playing ball with his brothers, so long as it’s not too hot. Dawson has loved being on the stage so far. The singing and dancing seem to come easily to him. This is his third performance with Swamplight.

Jayden Warren (Ensemble)—Jayden will be a Sophomore at Thompson High School in Alabaster, AL. Her favorite color is still pink, and she loves spending time chatting with her friends at school. She likes to think of herself as a truly kind and funny person; she is full of energy, for sure. Her favorite pastime remains barking at people she passes. She still does NOT like bugs and frogs. This is her second production at Swamplight.

Dennis Watts (Larry The Lobster, Voice of Gary)—Dennis lives in Walker and is a married father of 8 children. He has performed in House on Haunted Hill and The Jungle Book at the Columbia Theatre. Gary has worked at the Hammond Post Office for more than 30 years as a letter carrier. He enjoys listening to audiobooks, watching TNA wrestling, and making silly videos in his backyard. Tonight, he shares the stage with his son.

Logan Watts (Patchy the Pirate, Perch Perkins)—Logan is 25 years old and lives in Walker. He made his Swamplight debut in last spring’s You Can’t Take It With You. A senior at SLU, he has also appeared in Much Ado About Nothing, Near Nellie Bly, and Oliver. Logan is majoring in theatre with a music minor; he is a member of Alpha Psi Omega and an alumnus of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia.

Dylan Wheeler (Ensemble)—Dylan is making her second appearance on the Swamplight stage. She attends Loranger Elementary and will be in first grade this fall. She loves colorful sunsets, chocolate, and playing with her siblings. She loves making friends and memories at Swamplight!

Elodie Wheeler (Ensemble)—Elodie is the 13-year-old daughter of Jennifer and Denby Wheeler. She will start 8th grade in the fall and has worked with Elizabeth Addington in the Talented Theatre Program for the last 5 years. She began performing at 2 years of age and has been in several productions, ranging from dance recitals to musicals and Christmas programs to plays. Her little sister Dylan is following her onto the Swamplight stage.
