Arden Allen Dufilho (Abby Brewster) has been acting for over 50 years, including community theater productions in Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi, as well as professional touring children's theater and dinner theater. Since moving to the Northshore, she has appeared in Playmakers’ productions including Laura, The Glass Menagerie, Other Desert Cities, The Savannah Sipping Society, Southern Comfort,s and Into the Breeches as well as 30XNinety’s Steel Magnolias and Swamplight’s recent Talking With. She is also past president of Playmakers Theater’s Board of Directors.


Karen Dubret (Martha Brewster) was recently seen as Scraps in Swamplight's Talking With… by Jane Martin. She has graced our stage in other roles, including Penny in You Can’t Take It With You, Grandma Josephine in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory, and Bernice in the Musical Comedy Murders of the 1940’s. Offstage, Karen works as a Social Worker in private practice in Hammond. Karen enjoys crocheting, gardening, reading, and cooking. She is also a proud member of the sNoBalls Ladies Marching Group (as Green Apple), which raises funds to sponsor children in the Arts. She is married to Michael Dubret, and they have four beautiful children: Katelyn, Cole, Arden, and Remy.


Quinton Williams (Mortimer Brewster) is thrilled to be returning to Swamplight's stage after playing Tony in last spring's You Can't Take It With You and Ichabod Crane in The Legend of Sleepy Hollow in 2022. He has been an active performer on the Northshore, recently being in both Murder on the Orient Express and The Play that Goes Wrong at 30 by Ninety, as well as Macbeth in Abita Springs. Quinton is happily married to Catherine, the love of his life.




Kayln Vallot Haughn (Elaine Harper) is delighted to be back for another Swamplight Theatre production; most recently, she was in last spring's You Can't Take It With You. She is a workshop instructor in our KBPAP after-school program and teaches theatre for the Tangipahoa Public School System. She has spent many years training in all forms of the performing arts, and she has choreographed shows on several stages. Crafting, spending time outdoors, and family time are a few things that she enjoys.



Christopher Lilly (Teddy Brewster) is very excited to be making his return to the Swamplight stage after 4 years! The last time he was onstage at Swamplight was as Mr. Bumble in "Oliver!" Since then, he was Tevye in "Fiddler on the Roof" with the Wing and A Prayer Players and has been helping his wife run their own local Drama Club-- the St JP II Players. He is glad to get back in the theatre after being so busy with work on top of being a proud new daddy of baby girl Margaret Elaine Lilly!



Troy Glorioso (Jonathan Brewster) is excited to return to the stage after 21 years! His wife, Rebecca, and daughters, Addyson & Aubree, all have the theatre bug and have performed in various plays throughout Ponchatoula, Hammond, and Livingston Parish Public Schools. Previous work includes portraying Jesus in “Jesus Christ Superstar”, the Wizard in “The Wizard of Oz,” and Mr. DePinna in “You Can’t Take It With You”. Troy is a lifelong educator who has served as a teacher, instructional coach, curriculum coordinator, administrative assistant, assistant principal, and principal; he is currently serving as the Louisiana Curriculum Training and Support Specialist for Gallopade, a social studies and science publishing company. Troy is excited and grateful for the opportunity to bring Jonathan to life here at Swamplight Theatre!


Kevin Anthony Lavine III (Dr. Einstein) is a man from everywhere who has found a home in Hammond. He started in the military, worked in plants, and is now pursuing the arts. He is happily employed as a waiter at Chili’s, where he has time to engage with his passions, writing and acting, with some directing sprinkled in too. You might have seen him in Near Nelly Bly at Southeastern Louisiana University, Squirrels at the Columbia Theater, or Mrs. Whitman's Words for Women at Reimer's Memorial Theatre. He made his Swamplight debut in last spring's You Can't Take It With You.


Jim Winter (The Reverend Dr. Harper) has been the Artistic Director of the Columbia Theatre since 2019 and recently celebrated twenty years of teaching acting at Southeastern Louisiana University. Jim has previously appeared on the Swamplight stage in You Can't Take It With You and The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940. He would like to thank everyone at Swamplight for reminding him of the incredible healing power of theatre.




Don Michael Dubret (Officer O'Hara) has degrees in Vocal Music Performance from Loyola University and Communication Science and Disorders from Southeastern Louisiana University. He works as a Speech Pathologist at North Oaks Medical Center. Michael has performed extensively in Operatic and Musical Theatre productions over the years with various theatres in the area. His most recent performances include Mr. Mushnik in Little Shop of Horrors, Willie Wonka in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Roger in The Musical Comedy Murders of the 1940’s, and Wilbur in Hairspray. Michael is married to Karen Dubret, and they have four wonderful children: Katelyn, Cole, Arden, and Remy.


Thaddeus Kilpatrick (Officer Brophy) is from Baton Rouge and currently resides in Mandeville. He is happily employed in the field of land surveying and has been involved with several productions at Swamplight Theatre, including Tracers, Greater Tuna, Every Brilliant Thing, and The Musical Comedy Murders of 1940. A graduate of Southeastern Louisiana University and The University of Pennsylvania, Thad and his lovely wife Beth have 4 children and 2 grandchildren. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and cooking with friends. Thad is crazy about Mardi Gras and serves as vice-president of the Krewe of Pontchartrain.


Edward "Ed" Dufilho (Lt. Rooney), recently retired after 30 years in the travel business, is making his Swamplight debut. Since moving to Covington from Texas in 2018. Ed has performed in several productions at Playmakers Theatre, first as Shelby Carpenter in Laura, the title role in The Maker of Dreams, Gus in Southern Comforts, and two roles (as Zeus and Ares) in Escaping the Labyrinth. Lt. Rooney is a plum role, as he has loved this play since he was a boy!





Keith Davis (Mr. Gibbs) is a retired violin maker & bagpiper-for-hire. He has previously been seen on the Swamplight stage in Smoke On The Mountain. A lifetime musician and performer, he has fond memories of pulling curtains for Dolly Parton and Conway Twitty in the late 1960’s. Originally from the far North, Keith and his wife Diane and daughter Christine moved to Ponchatoula in 2004, just in time for Hurricane Katrina, and have no plans to move back. Since then, he’s written and published all three books in the Iron Lake Fishing Club series.


Dennis Watts (Mr. Witherspoon), a postal legend with over 31 years of service in Hammond, is embracing his inner senior citizen at 55 this August. Married for 27+ years, he's the proud papa of 8. His commute from Walker flies by with audiobooks. Evenings are for comic books, and nights end with Liquid Mind's chill vibes. Dennis and his wife are animal rescue superheroes, and he's always up for a laugh – just check out his silly backyard or bathroom videos. When he's not working or family-ing, catch him on stage at Swamplight or Columbia Theatre. Dennis' smile's a bit... unique, thanks to a burrito incident, a 5-year-old headbutt, and a high school volleyball elbow.


Ian Acosta (Hoskins/Spinalzo) is a 20-year-old nursing major currently attending Northshore Technical Community College who is making his Swamplight debut. His primary experience is working stage crew at Ponchatoula High School and has plans to audition for more productions in the future. He wishes to thank his family and all the people who have supported him to this point.





Logan Watts (Officer Klein) is a Senior at SLU studying Theatre who is excited to be back on stage at Swamplight. He is a member of Alpha Psi Omega and has been a part of shows at Southeastern, Columbia Theatre, and some area community theatres. You may have seen him as Dr. Field/McCain/A.D.A. in Near Nellie Bly, Kolenkov in You Can’t Take It With You, and Patchy the Pirate/Perch Perkins in SpongeBob the Musical. He would like to thank everyone who’s supported his journey in theatre.
