Abigail Rodgers (Ensemble) is from Des Moines, Iowa. She has been in many performances including Frozen Junior, Orphan Train, Lion King Junior, Beauty and the Beast, and Little Women. She enjoys singing and dancing and plans to pursue a career in performing arts at Boston University.
Alexander Greenhouse (Bickle) is 16 years old and attends Ponchatoula High School, where he has been in Clue and A Christmas Story as part of the Drama Club. He hopes that FOOTLOOSE will be a high-energy, organized, productive, and entertaining show.
Bode McDaniel (Willard) is a 16-year-old singer and actor in multiple performances at Swamplight and the Ponchatoula High-school Drama Club. He would like to take this time to thank his friends and family for always believing in him.
Cooper Aymond (Ensemble) Is a 13-year-old native of Ponchatoula. He recently attended 7th grade at Southeastern Lab School. He is the son of Eric and Melissa Aymond. He has been involved in various theatre performances, such as Matilda, The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, and Oliver!, where he played the title role. He has performed in several KBPAP recitals in children’s musical theater and hip-hop. His hobbies are sports, video games, playing drums, dancing, recording/editing videos, and listening to music.
Matthew PIckrell (Ren) is proud to be working with Swamplight Theatre again after having done Oliver (The Artful Dodger), Matilda” (Bruce), 13 the Musical (Malcolm), and To Kill a Mockingbird (Dill). He recently was in The Jungle Book at Columbia Theatre in Hammond. He served on the sound and light crew for Beauty and the Beast at Springfield High School, where he will soon begin his junior year.
Melissa Cortez (Lulu Warnicker) is Carter’s mother, and this is her second show with Swamplight Theatre. She has done theatre since she was in college, which is why her daughter Carter started doing theatre. They have done two shows together and have added her husband, Toby, to the mix for this show. She is happy to be able to spend time with her family and the FOOTLOOSE cast and crew.
Don Michael Dubret (Reverend Shaw Moore) is a resident of Loranger. He and his lovely wife Karen have four wonderful children: Katelyn, Cole, Arden, and Remy. Michael has degrees in Vocal Music Performance from Loyola University (BA) and Communication Science and Disorders from Southeastern Louisiana University (Masters). He works as a Speech Pathologist at North Oaks Medical Center. Michael has performed extensively in Operatic and Musical Theatre productions with Columbia Theatre, Swamplight Theatre, JPAS, and La Petite Theatre. His most recent performances have been as Father Lawrence in Romeo and Juliet, Fagan in Oliver, Bob Ewell in To Kill a Mockingbird, Wilbur in Hairspray, Dinky Dau in Tracers, and Jim in Pump Boys and Dinettes.
Mikah Barr (Wendy Jo) adores theatre and is excited to work alongside her friends, plus her mom (Rebekah Pait), in her first Swamplight production: FOOTLOOSE. She is a Ponchatoula High School Drama Club member and performed as a Brother in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Mikah has also performed in First Baptist Church of Ponchatoula productions. She would like to thank her loving friends and family (aka the Kinchens, too) for their support and Swamplight for this great opportunity.
