Kay Butler Performing Arts Project students and teachers welcomed family and friends to their Spring Showcase on May 13. The showcase gave the young performers the opportunity to show off the skills they have been working on in performance pieces with their classmates.
The showcase featured:
• Music selections by those studying Voice, Piano, Guitar, Ukulele, and Saxophone
• Scenes from the Kid and Teen Acting groups & Teen Theatre Production
• Dances from the Tap and Ballet classes
• Musical excerpts from our Musical Theatre students
• Musical selections from our choir members
Teachers Chloe Vallot, Elizabeth Lyon, Barbie Vallot, Jessica Aime, and Kendel Smith smiled proudly as they watched the young performers shine.
Performers in the Showcase were: MaciLyn Roher, Denver Melancon, Annabelle Henson, Amelia Norman, William Dailey, Avery Norman, Emma Drake and Addison Drake, Zachary Perrine, Ava Johnson, Leyna Boudreaux, Parker Kinler, Kyleigh Layrisson, Caris Banquer, Leigha Williams, Isabelle Cooper, Sailor Henley, Harris Horgan, Trace Gross, Emilia Vallot, Wrenly Haughn, Isla Daniels, Mira Wincapaw, Julliette Sims, Gabriella Sims, Olivia Brumfield, Camille Miller, Claire Bateman, Mackenzie Johnson, Julianna Lynch, Jaxson Wells, Kaizlyn Shockley, Keirslyn Shockley, Tyler Ridgedell, Kevin Bateman, Brock Wiggins.
