Classic "To Kill a Mockingbird" Opens the Season
Our "Justice, Laughter, and Happily Ever After" season begins with "To Kill a Mockingbird," based on the classic novel by Harper Lee. A coming-of-age story that finds Scout, her brother Jem, and friend Dill confronting racism, injustice, and the mystery of their reclusive neighbor while her father, Atticus, defends Tom Robinson, a black man falsely accused of raping Mayella Ewell.
**Special Note: The play will be presented true to the original as written by the author. Some of the language and subject matter may be considered offensive; it is necessary to be true to the author's voice and intent.
