Meet The Talented Cast Of To Kill A Mockingbird

Keith Davis (Judge Taylor) is a retired violin maker, bagpiper-for-hire, published author, and now, as Keith jokingly says, “old enough to play an elderly man on stage without extensive makeup!” This is Keith’s fourth production with Swamplight-- "Smoke on the Mountain," "Arsenic and Old Lace," and "The Wizard of Oz." Originally from “the far North,” he, his wife Diane, and daughter Christine made Ponchatoula home in 2004. Since then, he’s also authored the Iron Lake Fishing Club book series.





Kevin McCormack (Bob Ewell) is excited to make his Swamplight Theatre debut in such an important piece of world literature and thanks everyone involved for their work to bring the story to life for the community.  He was last on stage at Bay St. Louis Little Theatre as Bill Ray in "On Golden Pond" and as Thomas Putnam in "The Crucible" at 30XNinety Theatre.  






Zach Judice (Townsperson) lives in Springfield and has done theatre for 7 years. Most recently, he has been seen in  "The Wizard of Oz,"  "SpongeBob, the Musical," and  "Oliver." This production is his first non-musical and his first time being an assistant director. He loves spending time at Swamplight with his friends and can't wait to see what's next.






Molly Delaney (School Kid) is thrilled to follow up her debut in this summer's "Wizard of Oz" with this show. She has attended camps at Swamplight and has been quietly planning her stage entrance for quite some time. Molly is excited to be sharing the stage with her sister Henrie, her mom Hallie, and new friends.








Michelle Newman (Mrs. DuBose) is a returning Ponchatoula resident.  She enjoys spending time exploring local culture and supporting community programs.









Summer Grest (Miss Stephanie) is a Ponchatoula native and is thrilled to make her Swamplight on stage debut. Summer served as the music director for last summer's "Wizard of Oz." She is looking forward to becoming more involved with the Swamplight Theatre family.









Henrie Delaney (Townsperson) has been performing at Swamplight Theatre since they were 7, including last summer's "Wizard of Oz." They go to Madisonville Junior High and is active in the talented theatre program there. They are looking forward to all the new friends they can make in this show. 








Brantley Blades (Dill), age 10, has a growing passion for theatre. His previous performances include "SpongeBob the Musical," "Teddy Bear Tea," and "The Wizard of Oz." Brantley is excited to continue his theatre journey in" To Kill a Mockingbird." His love for acting continues to grow with each performance, and he looks forward to many more adventures on stage!







La’Zarus McKay (Tom's Brother) is from Ponchatoula.  This marks his second time on our Swamplight stage.  He was previously seen as a G-Man in  “You Can’t Take It With You.”










Ivan Janis (Boo/Nathan Radley) is excited to return to the Swamplight Theatre stage.  He has been seen here as Sergeant Williams in "Tracers" and the Principal Harry Clark in "Footloose" and is reprising the roles of Boo and Nathan Radley in this production.  








Arden Allen Dufilho (Maudie Atkinson) has toured professionally and worked in community theatres across Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas.  She was most recently seen in “The Crucible” at 30 X Ninety and was on the Swamplight stage in both "Talking With" and "Arsenic and Old Lace." A six-year board member and past president of Playmakers', Arden was in “The Savannah Sipping Society” there. 






Ava Johnson (Scout) has enjoyed being part of Swamplight Theatre classes, camps, and musicals; she is thrilled to continue growing as a performer. Outside of theatre, Ava enjoys volleyball, drawing and being creative, making homemade ice cream, and spending time with her family and friends. She especially loves her little brother, Archie, and her bunny, Clover. Ava is grateful for the opportunity to bring Scout to life.







Angie Kinchen (Mrs. Dubose) has been active in community theatre for 10 years, either volunteering behind the scenes or on stage. She enjoys dancing in the Halloween "Witches Stroll" in Belle Foret Subdivision. She'll be dancing with her fellow "Snoballs" group in upcoming parades. She also enjoys reading, crocheting, and hanging out with her husband & friends. Originally from Jackson, Tennessee, she has lived in Ponchatoula for the last 21 years with her husband, Kyle, and son Eli. 





Grayson Robin (Jem Finch) is an 11-year-old sixth grader who is excited to be performing in his second theatre production! Grayson has quickly fallen in love with the stage and the excitement that comes with being part of a show.  Grayson enjoys listening to music, dancing, spending time with his family and friends, and playing video games. He is excited to continue growing and having new theatre adventures.







Claire Neal (Scout) is a 12-year-old 7th grader at Courtney Christian School, where she has been a member of the CCS Sweethearts dance team for two years. She has participated in two Swamplight summer camps and played Little Lottie in last year’s Teddy Bear Tea.  Claire is excited, honored, and grateful for the opportunity to bring "Scout" to life and for this experience. 







Ryan Toner (Mr. Walter Cunningham) is a Chalmette native who now lives in Ponchatoula with his family.  A theatre student in both high school and college, Ryan has been in "A Christmas Story", "The Importance of Being Earnest," and "Annie. " He has also been a performer in Rise's Haunted House for seven years.  He enjoys various types of gaming and hopes that he can continue to be a part of Swamplight in the future. 







Ellen Elizabeth Heiman (Mayella Ewell) is celebrating her third year with the Swamplight family. She was seen on the Swamplight stage last season as the Wicked Witch of the West in "The Wizard of Oz," Mary Titfer in "Talking With," and in the Cabaret. She is excited to take on the role of Mayella Ewell, marking a departure from the more comedic and character roles she has previously played with the company.






Thaddeus Kilpatrick (Atticus Finch) grew up in Baton Rouge and currently resides in Mandeville.  A graduate of Southeastern and the University of Pennsylvania works in the field of land surveying.  While often found in our Swamplight sound booth, he has been in several productions, including "Tracers," You Can't Take It With You," and "Arsenic and Old Lace." Thad admits to being Mardi Gras crazy and is vice-president of the Krewe of Ponchartrain. He enjoys hunting, fishing, and hanging out with his 4 children and 3 grandchildren. 




Olivia Spring (School Kid) is an 11-year-old sixth grader from Ponchatoula. No stranger to the stage, Olivia has a strong background in pageantry; it was there that she developed a love for performing and being in front of an audience.  Olivia made her stage debut in "Finding Nemo Jr." at Hammond Eastside Elementary and quickly discovered how much she enjoys bringing a story to life. She is excited to continue learning, growing, and making wonderful memories with new friends at Swamplight.






Kendrel Luster (Tom Robinson) is a 19-year-old Southeastern student. Although he recently took a hiatus from acting, he is very excited to return to the stage at Swamplight. He has been previously seen on our stage in several productions, including "Footloose," "Cabaret," and the "Teddy Bear Tea." 






C.C. Bickham (Helen Robinson) is a retired U. S. Army veteran; the  New Orleans native settled in Hammond in 2020. She became active in the theatre community last year and has since worked in both performance and production for film, television, and the stage. Her new hobby has quickly become a passion. She was on our Swamplight stage in last fall's "Talking With." C.C. is an avid reader and credits that with fueling her imagination, which she uses on the stage.






Kevin Anthony Lavine II (Tom Robinson) says he is a man from everywhere who has found a home in Hammond. He started in the military, worked in plants, and is now pursuing the arts. He is happily employed as a waiter at Chili’s, where he has time to engage with his passions, writing and acting, with some directing sprinkled in too. You might have seen him in "Near Nelly Bly" at Southeastern, "Squirrels" at the Columbia Theater, "Mrs. Whitman's Words for Women" at Reimer's Memorial Theatre, or on our stage in "Arsenic and Old Lace" last spring. 



Jade Green (School Kid) recently moved to Madisonville and was thrilled to discover Swamplight Theatre. Musical theatre is her passion, and she has previously been in several shows, including "Peter Pan," "Finding Nemo Jr," and two years of the Next Stop Broadway summer program. She attended Swamplight's summer camp and is delighted to be back with the Swamplight family.  Jade also enjoys singing, cross-country running at school, and dancing.







Joz'f d. Cyprian (Reverend Sykes) is a native of Folsom who moved to Hammond to attend SLU and study theatre. He has since worked as a background player in TV shows such as Roots and Underground. He also provided support in the recent Jumanji movies. He celebrates the angel of his life, Lenora Lampton, who still mothers him from heaven. Joseph is the proud O. G. (Old Grandpa) to Jazz and Blues Cyprian!







Y. Cene’ Robinson (Calpurnia) spent many of her college years at SLU following behind Kay Butler. She was featured in "For Colored Girls Who Considered Suicide," "Talking With," and "Mr. Dream Man." Her main audience these days is her grandsons Jazz and Blues, who love to hear her sing. She is undertaking the role of Calpurnia because her son, RJ, has never seen her perform. She sends much love to her mother, Betty Ray Robinson!







Kyle Kinchen (Link Deas) is often seen here at the Swamp helping with the nights of production.  He is reprising this role from our first production of "To Kill a Mockingbird" seven years ago.  Tonight, he will be sharing the stage with his wife, Angie.  They have one son, Eli, who has also been on stage here at Swamplight before.








Hallie Delaney (Jean Louise) returned home to St. Tammany 16 years ago after a 9-year stint in NYC.  She was drafted into Swamplight 7 years ago when one of her daughters joined the cast of "Matilda." She and her children have continued to grace our stage.  Hallie was in our 2026 Cabaret and is excited to share the stage with 2 of her daughters in this production.









Patrick Bates (Horace Gilmer) has been a longtime supporter of Swamplight Theatre.  He is often found behind the camera.  Patrick is reprising this role from our last time this production was done here at Swamplight.  Patrick says that he is just happy to be here.  











Wyatt Sibley (Walter Cunningham Jr.) is a 7th grader at Ponchatoula Jr. High and returns to our Swamplight stage having performed in our after-school program for several years and appearing in the main stage production of "A Christmas Poule d'eau." He is in the Talented Theatre Program and a member of the PJHS football team; he is also involved with the Civil Air Patrol.







Billly Terrell (Townsperson) is making his Swamplight stage debut in "To Kill a Mockingbird." He is a theatre fan and can often be found coming to the theatre to see a performance.  During work hours, he can be found just down the street at Berry Town Produce.
