Swamplight family and friends pitch in for a good spring cleaning!
More than 20 Swamplight family and friends turned out recently to show their support and help the theatre prepare for the new season with some spring cleaning. With hammers, rakes, a Honey Do List, and a lot of determination, board members, parents, KPAP students, and siblings went to work organizing and labeling costumes and props, cleaning dressing rooms, resupplying the kitchen, and sprucing up the landscaping. One major accomplishment was the reconfiguring and reinforcement of audience seating for the summer production of Footloose.
A BIG THANK YOU goes out to everyone who participated and to everyone who supports Swamplight Theatre and The Kay Butler Performing Arts Project. This is a labor of love, and without your support and dedication, is not possible.
“We love being a part of the Swamplight family. It’s a great place for kids and adults to share their love of the arts. It’s our second home.” Karen Dubret
